Convince me out of Fosgate T1 comps?

My 4 channel puts out 4x60rms at 4 ohms. Only want a front stage loud enough for 2000rms and 2 15 ported. I have settled on doing 1 component set on the first 2 channels, and then adding 2 more tweeters to the last remaining channels.

Now i have tried diamond audio hex600s, some old mb quart, even CDT cl61A tw25 pro(great midrange, tweeters suck).

Budget is $200 for the component set and the Fosgate T1 6.5 components are really close to getting purchased.

All 4 tweeters have to be aluminum titanium since i love that loud sound better. The fosgate T1 have aluminum, so i need the last two tweeters to also be that. Im leaning on either another set of just T1 tweeters or the Kicker ks25 2011 tweeters.

As you can see i want only mainstream brands because i find that if i do not like them, they have great resale value simply because of the name.

Question is am i going to be loud with this setup or what recommendations can you guys give me, i have been stuck on my highs for a while now cant get it right. Bass is much easier.

If you are getting the T1 components I would just run them using all 4 channels and using the biamp feature on the crossovers.

I just changed my mind from the fosgates to maybe the Alpine type r comps or the type x ref comps.

I just ordered a pair of 2011 kicker ks25 tweeters that i want to run on the rear 2 channels and now im looking at the type x or type r set.

Any input?

What about the polk audio db 6.5 set they go for $100 shipped, do these suck? How do they compare to type r?

the T1 components have a fabric dome tweeter iirc, if you want the loudness of a aluminum dome tweeter i'd go with the T2 components which are right around your budget, I have T1 coaxials and I love them, they get loud and stay super clean, if I were you i'd get a set of the T2 components and run them active

I just purchased a pair of ks25 1 inch tweets the 2011 model comes with crossovers.

With the comps i buy that will make me have 4 tweeters and two mids im looking for it to be as loud as i can on a budget.

Do you think the t2 comps would be much louder than say the alpine type R which run $50 less?

Also i only have 60rms per channel at 4 ohms so not exactly working with great power.

well either one is getting 60rms. i guess unless big difference in design. you won't really notice it.

honestly If i were you i'd go with a lower power component set than the rockfords or the alpines if you plan on keeping that amp, you'd get louder with some components speakers fit for that amp than some speakers too powerful for that amp, in my car my T1 coaxials fall behind my memphis PR components because my amp isn't enough for the rockfords. as to loudness between the T2 and the alpines I can't say because i don't have experience with either of those exact sets but I do have experience with rockford coaxials and I couldn't be happier, alpine is a very well respected company too, I think you'd be happy with either set.

You are really going to start losing output if you put too many speakers on that amp, just not enough power. Stick with a good component set or 2, adding lots of extra tweeters makes it sound bad.
