RickyFriery97
alright im out finaly using this awesome tool, but i have a question. first one is when i tested im sub out RCA, trying to find max undistorted volume of my pioneer AVH-P4300DVD on the 40Hz -15DB, the 40 hz detect signal didnt kick on til 39/40? is this normal? ill be using the 40 Hz -10 DB to set my AQ2200D, witch is the only amp in the truck Quote 2014 Chevy Silverado Crewcab 1994 Chevy Full Size blazer
BeatBox
on mine with everything on flat it started to clipint at like 36 on highs and like 38 on lows then i move the settings around then it made it clip alittle sooner. i got it so it starts clipping or distorting at around

Ray
Sub vol needs to be at +6 use -5 for your highs And -10 for your subs Quote 2008 California state record holder 157.2 Bassrace2009 California state record holder 157.0 BassraceRollin 50's 158.7db2009 King of Cali Bassrace2009 USACi score 160.5 @ 42hz

RickyFriery97
Sub vol needs to be at +6 use -5 for your highs And -10 for your subs thank you sir not using a highs amp at the moment (stock Bose Mids/highs ftl ) one ? though, i tested my headunit by plugging my RCA straight in the DD-1, when i ran the 40Hz - 10DB track with the sub volume @ +6, the 40Hz detect light didnt come on til vol 29/40 is this normal/ok? just wanna be sure Edit: is lt1z323 correct? do i need to use the 40Hz 0db track to find the max clean volume of the headunit, then use the -10Db track when i set my sub amp?
