sweendog Posted August 20, 2011 Report Posted August 20, 2011 well to buy new the only place your gonna find Fi is on Ficaraudio.com and AA is a dealer only company I think. Meaning they don't sell the woofers off the website but you have to call a near by dealer. but used I'm sure you could find some good fi or aa products on the classifieds here or SSA or pretty much any other car audio forum.
SpartanSound Posted August 20, 2011 Report Posted August 20, 2011 AQ SDC2.5 series. I just got an HDC3 12 and threw it in my friends box for fun before I started building my own box and it sounded great! So I bet the main difference between the HDC3 series and the SDC2.5 series is powerhandling. Bet they sound just as good!!
kam311 Posted August 21, 2011 Report Posted August 21, 2011 Honestly obsidian audio is a new company so a the majority of the people on here havnt tried them. You really are not going to get a better sub for under $200. But I'm sure you would be happy with any sub mentioned on here. I just know that the OA's are very underrated at 600rms just like the SA12's are. And in my opinion they sound great and get loud. so far... Do you mean they can handle more than 600 or less? I've been doing some homework on this because I want to be sure that what I choose will work well. My only other question, right now, is the dual voice coil /RMS equasion.. 500 watt DVC sub: is that 500 to each coil or 250 to each coil? RMS power handling is per driver (no matter what DVC speaker you are talking about), not per coil. If you only use one coil you cut you power handling in half. Electrodynamic Power handling is not a power requirement! Don't install suckage! Simon Eichenberger is the man. My PM's are disabled.
