An 05 Chevy colorado reg cab. I am gonna build up the electrical first, but im tryin to get an idea which design to choose. One like the white sausage project where the subs are basically in the cab, similar to this.. or a design like chodes.. what are the pros and cons to each if ne plannin on doin 2 15s. hopin i can get my rims soon then all money goes to the sound system so need to kinda start gettin a plan goin. bigjoe302boss Posted October 29, 2007 Report Share Posted October 29, 2007 what are the pros and cons to each if ne plannin on doin 2 15s. hopin i can get my rims soon then all money goes to the sound system so need to kinda start gettin a plan goin. yes, I am a noob, but mho I think you should go with the design like the dd's because its easy to see and doesnt have the expensive plexy like chodes (still awesome as hell) and it would be a simpler build if you didnt plan on doin the flared port or painting it, but you need to do what feels like the best compromise for you, sound or looks, they don't always meet in the middle in a blowthrough, what kind of 15s and what kind of power are you planning on neway, because room may be an issue if you ever need the bed. Mine would be like urs chode no plexi( way spendy). Im thinkin of doin one like chodes and smokes because of the smaller hole.. less cuttin on the truck.
