I'm also buying a saz2500 and a mechman alt. So basically which would be the best bet. Autruche Posted August 24, 2011 Report Share Posted August 24, 2011 Why getting two D2 subs? You'll only be able to wire to 8, 2, or .5 ohms. You should be getting D4s, so you can wire to 1 ohm. If you have the power, you might as well be able to have it on tap. You don't need to give them 2500 watts just because your amp can put out that much power, but it's sure nice to know that you can give them a little more without worrying about clipping them.
