aight, i have a problem

im doin a box for a guy, hes really impressed with the way i have my car. i have 2 12's sealed from the trunk.

but he thinks that his pioneer premiers are gonna sound close to my DC XL's if i seal his off.

he doesnt plan on going to comps with this setup, but im thinkin it would probly be louder facing the trunk

any input on this? thanks

Id explain to him what you think, if he still wants to have a setup like urs build it for him. If he comes back not happy (expecting more) then he can foot the bill for the rebuild also.

I think I heard that the install plays a big part in how load or good its going to be, if anything try both ways facing the box.

forward firing and sealed off is typically louder exspecialy in a car built to play legal. rear firing is usually not quite as loud but it will usually sound a bit better

the only reason i dont see sealing it off will be a lot different is because im playin with 2 12's on 1kw. to me it doesnt even seem worth it

is it worth your time to seal it off completely? if the answer is no fire back.

is the box large enough to cover alot of the open areas passing into the cabin from the trunk.
