so finally I got some money to work on my electrical system..

I have done some plan and I count that I need :

7 Ring terminals

1 Distribution block

Positive and negative battery terminals - please tell me which one that i can put the 0 gauge and the "car running wire"

and Idk how much 0 gauge I supposed to buy.. and which way to it to the back? I mean under the car or sth? cause I dont think that It will fit under the plastics

on the sides..

how many Fuses I should put and where?

For now im running Xplode amp but I will buy another kinetic to my trunk before I put the sundown in...

I think I just gonna put another wire to my alt, I mean I will leave the stock one..

check darvex or sonic electronix for the terminals. put a fuse within 2 feet of each battery's positive terminal on each positive run of wire. get rid of that cap too. to find out how much wire you need you need to measure it out

So I should put it about 2 feets from battery in the front.. than another one after battery in the back and another one from cap to amp?

you should do some research before you put the cap in and learn about them. but yes put one a few feet from the front batt, one a few feet from the rear battery, and you probably wont need one from the cap or battery to the amp unless its over a few feet long and wired through any body panels or near anything that could cut through the insulation

Can I use the positive terminal like that ? that I fit 2 runs of 0 gauge (one from alt and the other one to the other battery) and can I just cut the stock terminal

and put the "car running wire" in this?

  • 2 weeks later...

I have the same car. I used about 35ft of wiring for the big 3, 1 run of +/-, and linking 2 batteries in the rear. I also used knuconceptz battery terminals for up front. Buy more ring terminals then you think you need, and a few extra feet of wiring. I cut a hole in the firewall and also cut holes where the seats mount so the carpet doesn't bunch up

If you want a cheap and reliable 140amp alt solution, PM me (if you have a 4cyl)
