I have never heard one, including ones I have used that sounded good. They can get loud but IMO they all have sounded like shit. NVR ENUFF Posted August 26, 2011 Author Report Posted August 26, 2011 well shit, back to the drawing board i suppose. honestly i have really really been looking for an excuse to buy and use a lanzar OPTI1533D but i know people are going to come out of the woodwork screaming they suck but honestly how bad can they be? they have huge magnets at 375 oz. 8ga direct connect cables, cast basket, any thoughts on a single OPTI1533D ported on the bre 2500? audiofanatics tried to recone one of them, their spiders are super duper thin, and he blew it on 800 rms clean, in testing... i was looking at those for a cheap loud budget build, but he showed me how fucked up they were which one the L3 or the lanzar? You work at a shop and dont know this?? i own the shop, and we havnt played with either of these two subs yet, we sell alot of mb quart, kicker cvr, L7, comp, hiphonics, jvc, american bass and pioneer. we are a small shop thats only been in business for about two years. as i said im not trying to break the bank for the g/f's dd and at the same time trying to try something we havnt done yet just because im looking to expand the "hey these worked great you should try them category"

Worth every penny. Would I pay $40 for one hell no. My point is, you're looking for value look elsewhere.

NVR ENUFF Posted August 26, 2011 Author Report Posted August 26, 2011 Meh Then why not get 2 nice subs??? or maybe one 15?? my one 15 was louder than 2 CVRs 12 thats why i was thinking the single opti 15 just because it looks silly big and my cost is 230 each. i have 4 vfl 15's in my jeep and she loves how loud it is but doesnt want the same brand i have, damn girls are strange and difficult to please. we also tried a set of audio pipe txxbf 15's but they blew pretty quick. maybe she might get a single L7 15. she is really stuck on these damn square subs fml
