Help choose amp plz!!

Ok so I have to dual.7 dc xl 12 an I'm looking to upgrade my amp. For electrical I have 2 d3100 right now an dc power Alt 270. I was thinking bout a dc 5k but my rise is almost at 2 ohms so I won't get all the power out of it so what about a dc 7.5k? I know it's more power but after u set the gain for clipping do u still get 7.5k at 1 ohm? Or any amp in general after you set the gains do they still rated

If I have 2 I would get another d3100 from xs power I can't add another Alt.

it sounds like you need the 7.5k so get it

with 2 3.5ks, if you strapped them at .7 that would be .35 per amp, i wouldnt run that low, espically daily

I tought if I wire them series/ parallel both subs I end with a .7 load when u strap them ? Is my math wrong? I get confused with ohms

with strapped amps, your final ohm load is divided between the two amps.

so if you strap @.7 ohm, each amp will see .35 ohm before rise

Honestly i would just stick with the 5k. When dealing with a daily setup I would not count on rise at any point because it changes with every frequency played.
