OrionStang
I just got an email from Youtube about monetizing my account. I use Decaf for about 99% of my demo vids. Will written permission from him be sufficient (if he's willing)? All the tracks he alters are free mixtapes, so I should only need his permission, right? jeyrapboy
fuck youtube.... That really helped answer his question... All decafs music is released as a free mixtape but i believe youtube even counts altered music as a copyright violation.

ESPECIALLY if your profiting off of it. For instance i go and buy a CD and download music off datpiff, I use 1 song from the cd in 1 video a song from datpiff in another, there both going to come down because your are using a copyrighted song in a video. The problem you are going to face is even tho decaf slowed/ chopped the song. He is still using another artist lyrics/beat/music to produce that song, as such the music is still copyrighted under that artist. Im not sure but i for see a issue. There are a few people here that have done it and not got ant problems. Wasnt there something about you can only use 30 sec clips of music before having to ask for consent from the artist if clip used is longer I could be wrong tho Quote Hahah damn cody She ain't that sexy.
