n8ball2013
there is absolutely no way those max dimension can be right? Are you planning on building it all in the trunk? if not then you need to figure out whats gonna drop in. LoudBimmer
Before building box make sure you can fit it thru trunk opening, because when I buillded my box, I had hard time fitting it thru opening.
logan_searching
The measurements are the whole trunk I want to use all of the space needed Yea my backseats fold down so I measured te opening to make sure it would fit it's 35" wide 15" high and to the back of my trunk it is 40" deep it opens half way through to 55" wide
n8ball2013
you totally missed the point. are you building in the trunk? if not through out the 55 wide. and you might want to do a mock up to make sure its gonna fit Quote THERE IS NO BUILD LOG! 1998 Chevy Silverado ext cab Alpine CDA-9887 4 Team Fi 15s 2 Ampere Audio TFE 8.0 2 Ampere Audio 150.4 3 Digital Designs CS6.5 component sets Dual Mechman 370XP Elite alternators inbound! 8 XS Power d3400 6 XS power d680 Second Skin Stinger Tsunami Wiring Sky High A Real Voltmeter not a piece of shit stinger. Bakerman
you totally missed the point. are you building in the trunk? if not through out the 55 wide. and you might want to do a mock up to make sure its gonna fit Some people just dont get it. What he is trying to say, is don't measure the trunk, build a box, and then not be able to fit it in through the trunk opening. Either go smaller or build it from the inside of the trunk. logan_searching
oh ok sorry was in class had to read quickly but yea I know what u mean the 55" would only come into play if I were building the box from within the trunk but no I am having someone build it so more than likely it wont happen that way so 35"x15"x40" would be my max dimensions sorry for confusion
n8ball2013
you didnt confuse me. I was just trying to save you the money and time of building a box that doesnt fit.
