well the good thing is the jeep and GMC are both mine, so i can work on them whenever. but the vette has priority. damn pups had to come early though.

here is the little reasons for the build going slowly

they were born a few days ago and are taking up floor space in my workshop. gotta love em!!!

and my next 2 projects waiting in the wings are.........

hopefully by spring i can get em all done!

well got a little more done today. here goes some pics

heres a pic of the car itself

owner changed his mind about amps, so now we are putting in 2 memphis mclass amps-- one 75 x4 and a 1100 watt mono

here is a little view of my "table saw" for cutting large pieces of material.

now building the panel to cover the amps and blend into the side panels. notice the cardboard templates to get the angles perfect.....kinda

then i transfered that to a piece of 1/4 inch material and cut the look throughs to see the amps.

next i made the return piece to blend it back to the rear wall of the hatch. clamped it up to sand the panels flush.

had to take the box out to fit the original carpet under it so i snapped a couple pics of it. 1 cube per side sealed.

put everything back in the car AGAIN and started building the transition pieces from the side panels/box to blend into car sides towards the front of the car. big pain in the ass here!!!!!

sp far thats all i got done, but it is the shit work, so it goes slowly!!!

made all the frame pieces then stretched fabric in prep for f-glass
