i believe it is the 5.7l 350 twin port or something like that. it is an odd ball. owner said it was hard to find parts for it cause it is "rare" model. ??????? who knows. i aint much of a motor head and havent looked under hood yet.

well like i said, here they go......

had to glass up the side panel filler pieces. once again thanks to GP i can accomplish this with greater ease now with the rope trick.

got the heat lamps on em cause it was 9 degrees this morning and the garage heater aint ready yet.

time to use the perfect circle to make some templates for the sub covers

heres j-rob using my template to route out the holes on the top panel. notice my ghetto rigged table for my rockler router lift. hey it works for me

here are the 2 top panels fit together and rounded over. we like it!!!!!!!

thats all for now, but hopefully next couple days i will get more progress up.

depending on which router you have, there are a ton of cheap tables out there. but building what i wanted was better for me.

do you want the perfect circle or would you like a bunch of circle jigs. i can build ya a bunch of those, but you gonna have shell out the cash for the perfect circle. not a cheap piece, but worth every penny!!!!

thanks alpineguy- the outer ring is only a template for the final 1/4" mdf one i am building. masonite is a good template material, but doesnt hold up for the long run. and making templates helps me hone my router skills. i recommend it to everybody. ecspecially if ya got a rockler router lift.
