mojoman Posted November 16, 2007 Author Report Posted November 16, 2007 well got more done again. but it is all the minor fitment stuff. tons of pics though. in order for all the panels to fit snugly together when vinyled, i had to fill the gaps and smoothe the transitions between panels. here goes.................... see the difference in the panel heights a little body filler and......... the gap is gone. more of the same, just different pieces............. and with that filler.........the pieces are almost seamless. notice the small 1/8" gap..perfect for 2 pieces of vinyl. b4 i got to this stage, i realized how much green tape is my ffriend. i used it everywhere so panels didnt stick together once filler was cured. and yes i fucked up a piece or two b4 i realized just how much the tape helps. live and learn i guess. and yep the pics of the pups are here too.

mojoman Posted November 16, 2007 Author Report Posted November 16, 2007 i am now going to be final sanding all the pieces in preparation for primer. then vinyl. oh yeah i think i forgot about the dash piece too. it had a couple long cracks on it, so i filled them with the plastic weld stuff sanded it and the filled it smoothe. this piece will be recovered in vinyl as well. i am also starting to find spots for the support equipment like this thats it for tonight, but more to come.................

mojoman Posted January 31, 2008 Author Report Posted January 31, 2008 well its been awhile since i posted, but i have been slowly workin on the vette. here are a few pics with the vinyl applied to the rear area pieces. hope you enjoy em. just a few, but at least it is something. its time to start on the door panels and dash, so i will remember to snap more pics as i go.
