jbloud47 Posted October 31, 2007 Report Share Posted October 31, 2007 well just got this blown 12 today just for the motor, so when i pull the coil out this happends, the mags shift and collapses together, and to add to the pain the screws are soft and want to strip out. what is there to do to fix this or who can fix this. Forevrbumpn Posted October 31, 2007 Report Share Posted October 31, 2007 gotta have the motor DE-magged, taken apart, then re-centered/re-glued... sorry buddy, gotta go thru the motions not many places but the manufacturer can even de mag it at all, its VERY dangerous to de mag, you can end up sending a motor right thru the cieling if a in-experienced person tries to de mag it...... if they have a 2 -4 million watt magnet charger I have a ritual called "terminator". I crouch in the shower in the "naked terminator" pose. With eyes closed I crouch for a minute and visualize either Arnie or the guy from the 2nd movie. I then start to hum the T2 theme. Slowly I rise to a standing position and open my eyes. It helps me get through my day. The only problem is if the shower curtain sticks to my terminator leg. It sorta ruins the fantasy. andym85 Posted October 31, 2007 Report Share Posted October 31, 2007 they probably could, but i would imagine it would be expensive to de-magnitize it and then have to re-magnatize it...how much would that run, guesstimating, if anybody knows? if it cost as much as i think it does you may have yourself a pretty cool paperweight... i likes me some audio stuff...
