MarcoCaparrotta
Im buying this JL 500/1 off of this kid in my town for $200 dollars. The catch is it hasnt been used in a year. Is there any wat I can see if it still works without installing it in a car? I have a multi-meter if that helps. thanks

BJD3
^^I doubt the dude selling it will let you walk away with the amp without buying it. I know I wouldn't. And good luck trying to get your money back after you leave. car battery, 8 gauge, random speaker, 3.5 to rca, and speaker wire. Just hook it up right there and see if it works. You won't know if it outputs rated. But it will let you know if there is output. Anti Peel and Seal...lol You may be offended by the above. Don't take it personally, I'm just abrasive. 2002 Buick Park Avenue DC Level 4 M2 12 D2 Car Audio Bargain 1600.1 Eclipse CD3200 ~2 cubes @ 34 hz. Bluliner
Alligator clips, headphone to RCA leads, iPod, and a bookshelf speaker; all you really need to test an amp...don't forget speaker wires and don't worry about the gauge going to the battery.
