HHR Ed
Oh, and also, the question in the title asks for the "Largest" Woofer, which has nothing to do with power handling. And that title goes to Richard Clark's custom woofer aka, MTX Thunder 1000000 I wonder what frequency response is for that thing.... did a 170 dB at 7-11hz I believe That is absurd.....7Hz. I bet it was a nice room fan movin that kind of air. it ballooned out the van, it was a square bread truck that turned round Ed Lester ShowtimeSPL Host Showtime Electronics Video MarketingMy old Build Loghttp://www.stevemead...08/#entry511451http://www.youtube.com/showtimespl 5 time dB Drag Finalist Last ride 2007 HHR, current dB 153.5 and bass race 149.4 dB. 153.0 dB on music New Ride, 2008 HHR SS. The Teen Audiophile
My 2nd cousin helped design the surround of the subwoofer so he gave me some sheets of the stats of the subwoofer. The surround is so thick and it doesn't move with your hands. No it's one subwoofer, he hit a 181 with a mammoth sub that cost the company 40000 to make. Huge 430lbs sub ppffttt hahahaha. Whered that story come from? X2

Whered that story come from? X2 what woofer? any pics or specs? Are you talking about what Dante used? Because that was a DDZ 18. Why wouldnt you want the surround to move with your hands? Seems very inefficient to me. BTW, I know all the guys doing 180s, nobody is used a sub such as you describe unless its super top secret from everyone.
