Ecco Posted September 10, 2011 Report Posted September 10, 2011 Ok, so I was driving today, and all of the sudden a song starts to jump around. Like it freezes or something, than after it has a mini-seizure, it jumps forward. This is on some songs, but there are no scratches that seemed like they caused it. So I tested the CDs in question in my portable CD player, same thing (but less messed up). So I put them in my computer, and they sound perfectly fine. Is something wrong with the CD reader in my truck? I tried other CDs in it, and they worked fine. These two are CDs that I burned. Help?

Usually burn another CD and it comes out fine for me. It's worth a shot. Or get one of the disk drive cleaners from best buy or something, a little test cd with bristles on it, and it will clean the lens of the device. It's just odd having 2 computers play them with no problem at all. I just threw the CD back in my truck, and, once again, it has a problem. That's just weird. I'm gonna have to buy more CDs tomorrow. These Memorex ones seem to have quite a bit of problems..
