dereileak
I have installed a alarm myself, so this is what i would do Solder Soldering iron Heat shrink/ Electrical tape Wire cutters/ strippers Various screw drivers and you might need a socket set depending on your car Also self tapping screws will help mount the shock sensor and Brain Thats pretty much the basics, Do yourself a favor and solder ALL your connections, avoid T-Taps. You DO NOT want your connections coming loose on something thats supposed to help protect your car. ive done like 30-40 of these alarms/remotestarts, and this list is perfect, get good quality electrical tape, I use 3m cold weather stuff, stays on in cold weather and sticks amazinly, also you need to have a ddm, its not even an option, you need it! also before you just go into the car with it, cut out any wires you dont need, get the brain with all the wires setup, with the wires you need going to certain areas grouped together, trust me, makes the job 500% easier!!! worth it for sure I have always cut my wires to legth sense my first instal, Makes it way easier then trying to hide a rats nest. What exactly is a ddm? I have never heard that term before. Digital Multimeter, You can pick them up just about anywhere, Autozone has 2 decent models http://www.autozone....fier=64471_0_0_ The one i use http://www.autozone....fier=64472_0_0_ The one my buddy has, This one has a built in battery test lights to let you know if your starting battery is in good standing. yea, I do that to, I get them grouped going each way, mount the brain to a good spot, route the wires, cut to length, and solder them in, clean install, and is much quicker 2006 Mazda3 Hatchback Black 5 Spd ManualPioneer 4300DVD2 Sundown SA-12 (34hz Tune, 3.22 cubes, 14.5 inches per cube, Triple Baffle)Kicker 10ZX2500.1 (2845 RMS) Sub AmpKicker 11ZX650.4 (705 RMS) Mid Amp -- (3 Amps)Kicker KQ3 Active CrossoverKicker KQ30 EqualizerKicker 09QS60.2 Components (Woven Carbon Cones)Kicker 09QS65.2 Components (Woven Carbon Cones) - (3 Sets)2/0 Gauge Electron Beam Technologies (3 Runs, 2 +, 1 -) 1/0 Gauge KNU Kollasal Flex (1 Run for -) 300 Ft Kicker X-Series 16 Gauge Speaker WireXS Power D3400 (Rear)XS Power D3100 (Front)Singer Externally Regulated Alternator (Being Built)+ The Love for Car Audio and BASS <3UBL Build Log <------- Click Here-------> Normal Build Log (For Comments)

Real96SS
So now that I have my vehicle I decided that in my spare time I would just mark off all the wires I need for the alarm install.I noticed that the Xpresskit PKALL doesn't state that its compatible with my truck. Is there something I'm missing or do I need to order a different kit? I want whatever is the easiest to install. So hopefully no keys needed and no other items required to program. Thanks in advance Vehicle 2007 Chevrolet Avalanche(Co-Co) DNX9980HD 6 Team Fi 15's(King Edition) 3 DC 9k's 8 Nendo PWX 8's 4 Custom Steg 4" Super Tweeters 1 DC Audio 175.4 1 DC Audio 90.4 Rockford 360.3 3 DC Power 370xp Alts(Externally regulated) 21 D1600's 2 D4800's All SMD RCA's AudioTechnix Deadner Viper Alarm My YouTube- http://www.youtube.c...NG?feature=mhee Link to buildlog- http://www.stevemead...4-15s-2-dc-9ks/ Link to UBL- http://www.stevemeadedesigns.com/board/topic/165059-ublkings-avalanchecoco-new-build-starting8-king-edition-15-team-fis-in-a-wallyes-a-wall/
