SnowDrifter
I don't have access to a term lab, so I was wondering if some of you more experienced guys can put some numbers in perspective for me - how loud my friends car is 2 kicker comp 12s, 1.64 cubes per sub in a box tuned to 38hz with about 35 sq inches of port. The amp is an old Rockford Fosgate t3002 running in bridged mode and the subs are wired as a 2 ohm load. The box is facing towards the back of the vehicle and the amp is as loud as it can get without clipping to the ear - it also is receiving 11.9v at full tilt(250-300 watts per sub?) I have no clue where this stands on the DB loudness spectrum. 125? 130? I know that it is hard to tell, but I am just looking for some ball park numbers(if possible) to get things in perspective when I see the YouTube videos of someone doing a 147 on music or something. ~~~~~~~~SAY NO TO PHOTOBUCKET~~~~~~~~ Snow's DD-1 tracks here: https://www.stevemeadedesigns.com/board/topic/167433-snows-dd-1-tracks/ My take on OFC vs CCA: https://www.stevemeadedesigns.com/board/topic/110381-things-that-piss-you-off-in-the-car-audio-world/?do=findComment&comment=2461444
