Whiteni66a
i have two kicker comps and they are 07 12inch. If i was to get a hifonics or kicker amp that producees 600watts RMS or 450 watts RMS at 4 ohms, and each speaker get the according wattage, would i blow these things? i have heard that kickers take one HELL of a beating................. Supercharged DCs
If the gain is set properly, they should take that power nicely. Quote Bassless once again. Can't seem to keep a system for more than a few weeks Saving for a '06 Nissan 350z, look for build around June 2012.

And which amp should i get? The Kicker ZX 450.2 or the Hifonics BRUTUS BRZ1700.1 amp? And my kickers are wired to a 4ohm load......

Whiteni66a
Do you have two 4ohm single voice could subs? read the fist post. 2 2007 kicker comps, 12inch single voice coil. both are wired together so that they present the amp with a 4ohm load.... I did read the first post, but since you are asking this noobish question I have to assume you don't know how to match impedances either, so I just want to make sure you get the power at the right impedance. So in other words you have 2 8ohm svc subs... Quote so far... kam311
Well if you had 2 2ohm subs it would be dumb to look for an amp that makes power at 4ohms, it'd be much easier and cheaper to get power at 1ohm Quote so far... kam311
A kicker 750.1 would go nicely. I wouldn't overpower those subs too much Quote so far...
