woodzyspl Posted September 20, 2011 Report Posted September 20, 2011 i use a battery charger that runs off my front battery. it charges from 12-14v and then you set it to what you want it to charge. so takes 14v in puts 18+v out to the rear batts. CarbonCone Posted September 20, 2011 Author Report Posted September 20, 2011 So have a charger up front connected to the rear batteries and charge them at 14v? What about a 18v setup as my amps do 5000rms @ 18volts.
CarbonCone Posted September 25, 2011 Author Report Posted September 25, 2011 Got my d3100 on Friday and got it installed last night. WOW im only running 600rms for a daily system and the volt didn't drop below 14.0 volts. I would get into the 12.9 mark with my old battery. Amazing...

But thats one cost to having a high power system, more money for . You can try running over 6kws with 1 extra battery on a stock alt but you will be def putting a strain on your electrical if you plan to bump more than 2 songs a day. Yeap $900 nz dollars brought off nathan @ xspower and shipped to new zealand. I didnt want to buy a d3100 because of the price I had to pay but after installing it and doing some testing im very very happy I did. I've played with apx. They like big boxes and smaller ports. The class im in is nz pro which is anyone over 145db goes into that class. Its the loudest car with no rules.
