pimpnFosgates Posted September 21, 2011 Report Share Posted September 21, 2011 ok, so i have 2 fosgate he2 stage 2 punches running off a tis audio 1800 watt amp and the magnet on the subs are so hot that i sparayed a bit o water on them and it hissed and evaporated. also my tis amp caught on fire on the inside but is still fully functional. anyone can tell me what happened? Guest Posted September 22, 2011 Report Share Posted September 22, 2011 Sounds like a bad ground and clipping x2 this. where is your ground located right now? are you using the biggest wire that you can fit in the power and ground terminals on the amp? what method did you use to tune your gains? are you using bass boost on the amp or headunit or ipod?
