I had problems breaking screws with my XL 18s so I figure when I get my lvl5s I will have the same problem lol. Sanitarium Posted September 25, 2011 Report Posted September 25, 2011 i say mount them in there perpendicular to the wall. if you shove em in hard enough they'll wedge into place and won't need any screws at all. Seroiusly though, if the baffle isn't flexing, it's kinda hard for the screws to break. And i like these myself. Teks brand. nice and thick, have a washer so they don't pull through your basket screw holes, and hex head to virtually eliminate slips.

Grinding all the mounting holes out...
