miniSPLlancer Posted September 28, 2011 Report Posted September 28, 2011 I have a pair of Sundown SA-12's now, just ordered a Mechman 270 alt and I have 2 Crescendo 2000's on the way. I've looked at SSA, FI BTL, AQ HDC3, just curious if anyone wanted to chime in. But, I'm not going to spend crazy $$ on the subs, around $500 each. Plus I'm kinda limited to trunk space, 08 lancer (smallest trunk opening in the world) I can fit 5.25ft^3 total. I build slot ported boxes now but may have to switch to flared port, maybe port it out the side. The pair of dc 12s I heard in person got loud, they were also in a trunk build. I like the best of both worlds, daily music and SPL, what ever I get it will be tuned to around 35hz with flared 6" port.
