NZXT Phantom case (all black) ASUS P8Z68 mobo Intel i7 2600K Antec Kuhler 920 heatsink 8GB Corsair Vengeance RAM 1866 mhz Radeon HD 6950 unlocked to 6970 Corsair 850w PSU Intel 320 series 120GB SSD (boot) WD Caviar Black 750GB HDD (data) WD Caviar Green 1TB HDD (backup) LG 12x Blu-Ray Writer NZXT cable extentions (black sleeved to make it prettier) Quote wtf is lolcats? I'd def get a fat hooker if i had to resort to that kinda thing. I feel like they'd be grateful and work harder. Also its more bang for my buck, more real estate for my dollar if you catch my drift. its like the Costco of streetwalkers. I was hoping for 150 . meade916 Posted September 30, 2011 Report Share Posted September 30, 2011 SICK ASS RIG!! I almost bought that same exact tower, all storm-troopered out like the one i have now. Thats the one that caught my attention from all the way down the aisle (at fry's) LOL. I chose mine over this one because of the side window.......but yours is sick as hell! Nice clean cables - gotta love those little grommits on the side. Ive never had a tower that had that. I know one thing, this is my 2nd i7 CPU, my other pc has a i7 920, and its probably the most stable computer i have ever built. Knock on wood, but i have never seen the blue screen of death since the day i dropped it (and a new mainboard) in. jeffm4688 Posted October 1, 2011 Report Share Posted October 1, 2011 (edited) Looks like a very clean build, my uncle is a trader and he just bought the 2600K as well and it is extremely powerful, he is running two graphics card to power 4 screens, too bad their all still VGA, although for what he is doing it doesn't make a big difference. His screams, as I'm sure yours does too! Good pick on the SSD, the Intels are fast, as well as the samsungs (I have a 128GB Samsung one) hey, it looks like you have room for another video card do it !!! +1 on the second graphics card, can't go wrong especially with BF3 coming out later this month. It took a slim fan (Xigmatek 200mm) to fit. Normal 200mm's are 30mm thick, this one's only 20mm. It's also got the holes half-drilled for the Phantom's side panel, which i guess NZXT designed to only take their 200mm fans by default. I did have to mod my case a bit though. Had to file away around the metal mounting tabs on the side door so my fan would sit in against the mesh. Also, couldn't fit the fan filter and still close the door, but not a huge deal because it pushes a TON of air. I'll try to get pics up tomorrow. Quote wtf is lolcats? Which is why I grabbed the 850w. Just had to wait for a certain holiday deal to pop up Got my first 6950 2Gb card from AMD back in June for $169. Looks like their Winter Holiday deal includes a processor as well. I have no use for it, so it'll prolly be my little brother's Christmas gift. 2nd card will be ordered tonight and on its way soon!
