Not a 100% sure what you mean by that, but basicly you're using the chassis of the car as a negative conductor between front and rear so solid metal-to-metal connections both in the front AND rear is needed.

All the power running through your positive power wire from the front batt and alternator is also going through the negative wires and chassis.

I hope this is in relevance of your questoin :pardon:

You don't have to ground a battery to another battery,

Your first battery needs lets say 2 good grounds one to the frame one to the body

Your Second battery needs one to frame one to body as well

Then do an Engine to frame

Then a Body to Engine

Something like that should work fine.

Remember to sand ALL grounding locations, i always overkill my ground and do Several.

all negative wires off batteries are grounds right? I was askin whether I daisy chain the ground off the battery under the hood 2 the 2nd battery then ground it or just ground each battery seperatly?

You can ground your batteries seperately, and for the power wire you'll be fine either way with your setup. I think most people run it from the battery as its often the easiest. Do whatever you feel like, just don't forget to fuse your wires.

All Positives on the batteries ran together and fused, your amp positive off the 2nd battery and fused

negatives need to be grounded like i said before

you need one wire from alternator to battery too.

and no you don't need to ground a battery to another battery
