wiring question? Please help

If i wire like this would i see problems? And if the channel its on is getting about 160wrms how would that power be distributed through the speaker wire? is it 80wrms through the to 4 ohm loads then 40wrms to the tweeters or will each speaker see 54 wrms?

You need a cross over in there some where, I'm pretty sure. your ohm load is correct, but your going to be putting all your frequencies through all of the speakers. to answer your real question, the power (in theory) is going to be equal between the tweets and the mid-bass.

yes i will have a crossover. i am just wondering cuz i aint to sure on the power i will be getting.

Can someone help me with this? Just want to be clear on this power rating to each speaker. I may be wrong but theoretically with a wire at a resistance of 2ohm would get the 160wrms then once the wire gets divided to the 4ohm load would then see 80wrms to each wire and then once divided the third time at the tweeters when it divides again at the 8ohm load it would see a 40wrms. Am i wrong in seeing it this way? Can someone with more knowledge clear this up for me?

The power should get evenly distributed to the speakers. Just because your speakers are different ohm loads doesn't mean they will receive different wattage, that will only affect the final load coming from your amp. Different ohms on speakers are just so you have more wiring options to suit your specific needs. If you have a mono amp that is 1 ohm stable and you only have 1 dual voice coil sub you can buy a dual 2 ohm sub and wire to 1 ohm load. Hope that clears things up. At least that's my understanding. I'm sure someone will correct me if I'm wrong.

o well i guess i will be needing another amp later... boo, i was hoping the way i thought was wrong. so as i figured i will be getting 53wrms to each of those speakers. Was hoping i was wrong. does anybody know how to see how much power each speaker is getting?
