Will be going with a 1.2k or 2k in the future but for now I'm loooking for a good amp to power this sub. Been looking at hifonics and soundstream. My budget right now is $200 shipped. Sometimes it would be better and more efficient in the long run to wait just a little bit longer and put your $200 with another $100 or so and get yourself an awesome, frugal amp. Johny B Posted October 3, 2011 Author Report Share Posted October 3, 2011 Ya i found a Soundstream DTR1.1700d for $188. 1700 watts rms @ 1ohm. I think my 12 is a D1 or D4. Not really sure my friend ordered it for me. Once i get my other 12 the 2 subs together will give the amp a 1 ohm load so if that helps?
