brownm3
I am making my first gun purchase hopefully this weekend. I have shot my dads and friends weapons but been saving up for my own and I have been researching and the Glock 27 seems like it would be perfect starter and daily carry, since I plan to get my concealed weapons license. My dad has one of the standard size glocks not really sure which one just know it was fun to shoot but not something I would want to carry around daily. n8ball2013
personally I dont feel like you are ready for a firearm if those are your reasons. There is nothing wrong with a 9mm. the 5.7x28 round is slightly larger than a 223 round (its 224) and will induce more damage than a 45 round will. Its not all about bigger is better. KINGKONGINTHETRUNK
the only thing a high point is good for is to club someone to death lol i agree that a good 9mm is a pretty good choice for a first gun its cheap to practice with and the kick isnt overpowering glocks are great guns but arnt exactlly "cheap" but you get what you pay for smith & wesson makes a gun VERY similer to the glock called the SW9VE for under $300 or less if youfind one used id research the smith & wesson if i were you

LT.Smoke
The 9mm is fine.It will get the job done...If it didnt perform then I am pretty sure that the military and some law enforcement would not still be using them.... But thats just my take Quote Team MaxRetribution Si Vis Pacem Parabellum Id rather be judged by 12 than carried by 6 Bowhunting- Life Begins and Ends at Full Draw Bowhunting Team Fatal Trajectory Hunt Team http://www.stevemeadedesigns.com/board/topic/49335-sick96vtecaccords-t-line-build/?hl=sick96vtecaccord << Accord Build http://www.stevemeadedesigns.com/board/topic/68498-smokedout08impalas-tline-build/?hl=+sick96vtecaccord << Impala T-line build Rebassed.com for all your music needs 👌

If you want a real comfy daily carry 40 look at the Glock 23 its smaller than the fullsize 22 but a lil larger than the baby 27....i carry a 23 for daily and also as a duty weapon for bail enforcement and wouldnt have it any other way Quote Team MaxRetribution Si Vis Pacem Parabellum Id rather be judged by 12 than carried by 6 Bowhunting- Life Begins and Ends at Full Draw Bowhunting Team Fatal Trajectory Hunt Team http://www.stevemeadedesigns.com/board/topic/49335-sick96vtecaccords-t-line-build/?hl=sick96vtecaccord << Accord Build http://www.stevemeadedesigns.com/board/topic/68498-smokedout08impalas-tline-build/?hl=+sick96vtecaccord << Impala T-line build Rebassed.com for all your music needs 👌
