So I Haven't really been updating because its been such a slow process so far. Things are starting to move along again.

Stock engine bay

New headers, breather, dist. cap, wires, valve covers and some other little dress up pieces.

New cab corners are in just not on yet so we pulled the bed to do that and start the bagging of the truck

Tank is going under bed so I removed this bracket

Welded in a support to keep everything lined up and add some bracing, also started notch and bridge but ran out of daylight shortly after.

Bought this little battery for the back for compressors and started a little battery tray, which will be welded onto the frame.

  • 2 weeks later...

Been working a lot lately so work on the silverado has been slow.

Cool picture of my Avalanche over in Ohio.

2012-05-23_20-04-01_432.jpg

Well started cleaning the rims up

2012-05-24_19-38-51_724.jpg

Well I had a high output alt from a previous build I deiced to use. I had to get a new plug from the junk yard and wire it to the brown wire. I did get it installed

2012-05-28_14-38-49_122.jpg

Here is what happens when you are in a hurry and think you can hold the alt ring with your hand to drill it out.

Replaced front bumper finally

2012-06-03_12-11-12_892.jpg

Then began bagging the front

2012-06-03_13-31-18_359.jpg

I cut the spring pocket and then sprayed it to check for rubbing... I ended up doing this about 5 times

Here is just the drivers side done... I'm not notching for tie rods yet and will just lay air dam until I get more time to work on it.
