Hope you heal up cause you have more work to post. Yeah I hate needles so the worst part was getting the stitches... I took the stitches out yesterday and it seems to be healing pretty good. My 4 link should be in end of this week or early next week. I know I have a lot left to do before Slamology on June 16th, I just found out I have to order Spline lug nuts and no one stocks M14-1.5 around here. Rebuild coming soon

techaninna Posted June 6, 2012 Author Report Posted June 6, 2012 Welded on a bar to the frame, I will ground my valves to this bar as well as use it for cable management. These are little cable tie mounts, they stick very well as long as the surface is cleaned properly and flat. Notice all cable ties and cable tie mounts are black. Black cable ties are UV protected against ultraviolet light, weather resistant and are therefore recommended for outdoor use. White cable ties are for indoor use only. I went ahead and mounted all of them to the clean metal, and I painted over them. Got the notch done and painted the frame Rebuild coming soon
techaninna Posted June 12, 2012 Author Report Posted June 12, 2012 Getting close to Slamology and its going to come down to the wire and I'm sure some things will not get done in time but we will see. Progress so far: Got passenger side bagged and fenders cut out and welded and seam sealed new trailer fenders in. Rookie mistake by the way, I wanted to leave enough fender room to lay frame once I notch the frame or buy MMW notchless tierods, and well the hood springs hit the fenders and now I'm using a bat as a hood prop. Also got the 4 link and watts link, hopefully I will get them installed tomorrow and finally bring the back down closer to the ground. Cab corners are being getting done as well hopefully they will be body worked and primed in time for Slamology. I plan to redo the entire engine bay once I get time to reroute everything and clean it up. Also like to get MMW notchless tierods and some upper A arms. Rebuild coming soon
techaninna Posted June 13, 2012 Author Report Posted June 13, 2012 Did a little prep work for wiring yesterday, didn't get many pictures. Dropped the rear and installed KP 4 link and watts link today. Hopefully wiring it all up tomorrow. Pictures..... Heat shrink then heat shrink (didn't have a heat gun so used lighter) all electrical connections outside will have dielectric gel also. Rebuild coming soon
techaninna Posted June 14, 2012 Author Report Posted June 14, 2012 Spent Majority of the day wiring everything up... It works, but it is entirely tooooooo fast in the rear. I am going to call around tomorrow and see if I can either get some inline air regulators or a lower rated pressure switch. Current pressure switch is 165 psi on and 200 psi off. Well as you can imagine with no bed on it and 3 foot of 1/2 air line the back jumps up.... Also scratched my paint on my tank being careless, will try to fix it tomorrow. Still got a little wiring to clean up, but I did air it up and drive it 10ft to check wheel turning clearance and to clean up all the trash. Rebuild coming soon

I've still got to cut the bed out and roll the rear fenders, hopefully this weekend... hopefully Geez ... I wish I could get all that body and paint work done to mine ... Awesome looking truck Sir !!! If I get the rest of the truck sanded it should be all the same color well same color primer, probably won't painted it until next summer. Rebuild coming soon
