Nine8SST Posted October 9, 2011 Author Report Share Posted October 9, 2011 LOL...I'm just about ready for the rebuild bro, I got hit a few months ago on my motorcycle by a drunk and I'm just now starting to get around better, so it's been slow going but has given me an opportunity to plan it all out well. I'm also doing my seat upholstery to match my door panels after I glass them so it should be pretty nice overall. I'm building it clean with attention to detail with SOTM in mind, not that I expect to win.... but with that in mind I want to step it up to the caliber of what a winner would look like. The only thing that I don't have yet that I would like to get is an XS D3400, but I'm pretty tapped out right now so I need to save up for a minute. Again, thanks for the advice....everyone....I love learning new shit, we definitely have the most knowledgeable people here on SMD, and even at my age there is always something new to learn. I was originally going to do the same thing as you with SOTM and making a build log but i got so involved with it i just said screw it and threw the camera aside and did the work and nailed it out in a few weeks. Line drivers are nothing but distortion unless you spend some bucks and get a good one or get a sound processor like i have which is also a line driver too.
