memphisBred
Wow I've been staring at it disconnected thinking that was it. The charging post on my Iraggi was in the same position as the stock and the cable reached easily. Now the charging post is on the back of the alt and the cable won't reach. memphisBred
What's the best way to lengthen/make the cable reach? I was hoping to see the cable ran a long way zip tied at certain spots but it looks like it's as far as it will go. blownengine
Do I need to disconnect the wire before cutting the insulation? Disconnect the battery whenever you do something electrical. OrionStang
Can you safely and effectively splice wire that size? 8awg or smaller IMO would be fine. Do I need to disconnect the wire before cutting the insulation? To be safe, yeah. You could just replace the entire wire with a longer one.
