Is this a good box?

I am doing and audiopipe build with three 15s and the biggest box I can fit in my car is 8ft^3. I am going to tune it to 33 Hz. I was wondering if four 3 inch aeroport would be enough room for three 15s or if I should go with a slot port. The slot port would end up being 4 inches by 10 inches. The three subs are going to be on 1.5 kwrms btw.

I doubt 4 3" aeros is even close to what you need for 8 cuft

It would be around 3 sq in of port per foot. So its a no

That is a small enclosure for (3)15's ported....I would re-measure and try to get more airspace . At least 3^3 per sub....

If all you can do is 8 cubes, then either go 2 15s or 3 12s. Especially if you want to tune to around 33Hz. I don't know of many 15 inch subs that'll be happy with less than 3 cubes per in ported. I'd also get with the manu on how many sq in of port you'll need.

IMO you're better off giving fewer subs more breathing room than trying to cram more cone area in less volume. The answer will be moar powah.

I can trim down on some plastic prices but that will only get me 2.7 cubes per woofer.

Recalculated... 3.2 cubes per woofer if I remove the spare tire. I guess slot port is looking like a better idea.

Is that before bracing displacemnt, port displacement, and woofer displacement?

nononononono! just go 2 15's. or wall that shit.

Just say no to Ground Pounder Customs.

More box builds

some cars do over 170db with one sub, so clearly my two 12"s can do that in my car, with my knowledge too! look out bitches!

I'm with captain stupid.
