andym85 Posted November 10, 2007 Report Share Posted November 10, 2007 ...with a financial planning firm here in louisville. i am interviewing for a paraplanner position, basically an assistant to the financial planner....until i have studied enough to take the CFP exam. it went really good, i have to call monday to setup another interview...and if i get another interview after that, then he said they have probably made up their minds by that point and i probably have the job. anyways, i went awesome imo...i think he liked me...one of my current professors is working with the same firm and forwarded my resume to the guy i interviewed with...i got lucky there. i think paraplanners start out between 30-35k/year...which isnt bad for graduating in december and only being 22yrs old...he said we would discuss compensations if/when i made it to the third interview...but i think i will...im pretty pumped about it...finally be able to put some of my knowledge to use...
