ChevyBoy95
I know the disc has a -5, -10, and -15db tones for the subwoofer amplifier gain setting. Could i use my own 40hz track at -0db to give a little more head room for clipping/distortion? OrionStang
The dd-1 disc has a 0db tone as well. Quote SMD Super Seller My Feedback Thread
ChevyBoy95
well shit, didnt see it, but i am correct in the sense that setting it with a 0db will lower the gain as to setting it from -10 db? OrionStang
Yes you are correct. Its the safest to use since I don't think you'll find much music recorded that high. Quote SMD Super Seller My Feedback Thread
Decaf
Before the dd-1 it was typical to see most people use -3db@50hz for daily setups. Its a moot point almost tho because u can still distort the amp by playing heavily clipped songs. Using 0db would be equivalent to turning the volume down on clipped songs, same thing
