So here is the deal, Rob (Thorshammer) is just doing dash for points. He is "NOT" a multipoint judge. My area is Oregon, California ( Which I share with Jeffrey ), Arizona, Nevada, and I share Washington. Hopefully this helps you guys so I don't get a million more emails on that topic. Also "YES, YES YES!!!" I have world finals set at Lake Parris. Too many people speculating and telling people other things IT IS SET!!! A few people keep calling Wayne about it and he was just waiting for his Lawyer to ok the paperwork. I told you guys I was going to have it there and I ment it.... You guys showed your support and thats why we have it that close... ALPINE408 Posted October 26, 2011 Report Share Posted October 26, 2011 i did not call or e mail anyone but you got to understand dale last year we were promised a world finals here on the west coast and a few people spent a lot of money (my team mate Kimo included) to make the trip out to vegas because you had to go to regionals in order to go to finals that was told to us would be on the west coast just to find out it was all just BS so i understand if everybody and there momma called you to make sure the proof is there now and on facebook so the calls/e mails should stop but that is why it happend Quote Have you ever had your woofers blown? kingsuv Posted October 27, 2011 Report Share Posted October 27, 2011 While I am very happy to hear that there will be a finals location out here, I can't help to recall the money more then a few of us spent to get ready for a finals to have it NOT happen last year. Even the laughlin location left more then a few of us shrugging our shoulders after the event with the amount of attention that was lacking in the event. It doesn't take but a few missteps in planning to throw off the whole vibe of competing in an Org's format. Dale I think you are doing a hell of a job in taking over for Doug. I honestly didn't think anyone was going to put on a show that kept the energy up like Doug did. Not only have you, but you have done it in your own way to not make it a recycled Douggie show. I hope that you can right the wrongs that I think more then a few people felt out here over the years in DB Drags planning in regards to regional and finals. I myself have a hard time investing heavily into an org like I once had, to have history repeat itself. I do hope to see some solid changes as I do really miss competing and hope to see something worth investing my time and money in more seriously these next years.
