Especially the hdc3 sub was still pretty damn stiff. i did beat on it a bit though so its partically broken in. My take is this, if you sub doesnt unload at high volume then filters may set correctly. Gain set at 1/3 is ok, but with a budget amp, who knows a clean signal will be avoided. And if the box size is correct, i'll guess that the sub is not fully broken in. But if anything, i'll try a better amp.
