These subs are oriented at being a big beefy driver with more daily beating in mind and a tad less SPL than a Nightshade. Power handling is creeping right up with the NS v.2 -- the main reason for someone to get an NS v.2 over one of these would be mostly for SPL competition usage due to the much higher motor force of the NS v.2 motor.
