I'll be getting my 15'' reconed with the upgraded spider pack but im wanting to do that ar cone as well.. being that im running about 3k-3.5k daily on mine You'll be totally fine with that battery bank and power on those subs if you dont clip the shit outta them. The ar cone has wider surrond and is stronger. You can also do carbon fiber cap to add strength to the cone on that power.. He already has the carbon fiber caps on them. Correct, its ethier that or do 3 18' xl woofers in the mustang i just dont think i will have enough room in there i did rough measurments and i only see like 14cuft max while still staying behind the bpillar but i didnt remove no trim peices and i have some backseats in there..... but in all honestly will there much of a gain from slight increase in cone area? im its still the same motor and ect... jakobebassbudds Posted November 7, 2011 Report Share Posted November 7, 2011 i have a powerbass 4k xta on a 12in xl with level 5 spider and it does just fine so i think you should be fine with that power on 3 15s expecially if your doing a wall and can do lots of port area . and by the way i have 3 powerbass 4ks and three 12s" xls , my coil is D2 so each amp is at 1 ohm before rise Quote 2 12ks and i dont know what to do build in the works! With a stiff spider setup ( I had 4 medium 2 stiff ) we had no failures on 4500 rms each daily before rise.
