I just ordered a SA-15 and i have a general idea of what box i should get but i have no idea what amp to get. I want it to be loud but i dont want to worry about blowin my sub. So any ideas for a good amp? also any advice on a box would be helpful too. (i want it to be ported) LINKS TO AMPS AND BOXES MENTIONED WOULD BE VERY HELPFUL. Thanks

Blowing the sub will really depend on what box you match up with what power. Obviously an amp that puts out around that at 4 ohm will be more expensive than one that does the same at 1 ohm. There won't be any headroom for upgrade with the latter. What are you willing to spend, and it most likely won't matter for this system but have you done anything with your electrical system?

Im wouldnt want to spend more than 300 on the amp but if its neccesary i can. and i havent done anything to the eletrical system. Do i need to?

As bass heads we seem to always want more haha. With the 1200, down the road when you want more, buy another 15 and that amp is ready to go for you. Also, you won't need much more than the big 3. Possibly a better battery, kill just have to see. And that's only if you run it at 1 ohm with the two 15s down the road.
