Will this amp fit this sub?

Working on my first car audio build ever!

Currently have:

- 1996 Lexus LS400 sedan

- Diablo Hellfire Proto Amplifier

- (2) 12" Fi Bl Subwoofers

- Vented subwoofer enclosure from Perfect Soundz

- Installed by Perfect Soundz

Needs:

- Battery: probably XS Power 12V 2400

- "The Big 3"

If youre going to get such a nice subwoofer, why cheap out on the thing that powers it?... kinda a waste IMO. Plus those amps arent even putting out CLOSE to what they say they are. Go with a AQ 3500, Sundown 3500, or DC...

Sounds like a AA Havoc or Mayhem would be better for you since you aren't going to find a cheap amp that can give a SMD the power it wants.

Yeah but it is temporary until I get more money. Why get a mayhem when I will upgrade it anyways? You know?

Sounds like a AA Havoc or Mayhem would be better for you since you aren't going to find a cheap amp that can give a SMD the power it wants.

Yeah but it is temporary until I get more money. Why get a mayhem when I will upgrade it anyways? You know?

Why buy a cheap amp then if its only temporary then? :nea:

I think it would be a better sub for you. If you are asking if a BOSS amp would be good for a under rated 3500w sub then I am guessing you are new to audio? 1 15" mayhem in maybe a 4 cubic foot box on 2500-3000 watts will be a lot louder than you think.

agreed that would be like getting a koenigsegg ccx and putting 87octane fuel into it ... if your going to get an SMD subwoofer you gota give it good, rated, CLEAN power ... i stress CLEAN power
