meade916 Posted November 14, 2007 Report Posted November 14, 2007 well ever since experimenting with Chickens hoopty, i figured out how to get a G31 battery under the hood of a Tahoe....i love practicing on Escalades to learn how to work on my truck :D The PCU (i think thats what it is) needs moving about 5" over, the metal on the inside of the fender needs to be strategicly cut and bent out of the way, the bar across the top needs removal and finally the side posts for the factory shit need to be converted (i got a special technique for that!) here it is....just 2 pics i took at lunch. Of course all is soldered solid! oh, that makes (7) PowerMaster D3100's now! Feelin like a million bux! Ive wanted that yellow top out of there for so long. I paid $180 plus tax (200+) for each one so you should weigh out whether it will be cheaper to get a new one. Shipping is nearly $50 on those.....at least from Fedex so im thinkin $150 shipped.
