POPLERO Posted November 17, 2011 Report Posted November 17, 2011 depends on how many layers you want.. I did 3 persoanally just because I never wanted to deal with removing my headliner again.. I may get enough for roof now It's really not that difficult...your roof is close enough to a square/rectangle you just measure LxW and you got the square footage....O_o Also..depends on how far you want to go. I did a frame, ribs, and damplifier, and will be installing a strippers pole centered. Tell me...does this smell like chloroform to you?
Second Skin Rep Jon Posted November 18, 2011 Report Posted November 18, 2011 Just go with one (not multiple) layer of the highest quality sound deadener you can afford. Personal fav for roofs at this point and time is Alpha Damp, kills them rattles DEAD! If you want another choice that isn't Second Skin, take a look at SDS Tiles, Stinger Roadkill Expert, or even the industry "standard" Dynamat Xtreme. All are really great products and wouldn't be the least bit ashamed of having them installed.
