95legwagon Posted November 18, 2011 Report Share Posted November 18, 2011 open task manager (ctrl-alt-delete) and look through processes, see if theres one called iexplorer.exe. make sure it has the Iin Iexplorer.exe. if ones open, then end it. then get tuneup utilities trial or full. the explorer has an i like its suppose to and i have avast running a scan for like the fourth time will the other programs you guys mentioned do something different? avast is junk.... alot can get past it..... i USED to use it til i found out that it has many weaknesses..... use comodo Quote i think there real i was looking through that guys stuff he sells and it looks like he finds stuff at auctions and just sells it Yea, it looks like someone got the mids about a month ago....shit. I've been in the computer game for 6 years now. When I last checked, AVG was the popular vote, so I always went for it. And I "found" a copy that lasts till 2017, so that's what I'll be using on my laptop. Also, it doesn't bog it down at all. Now, for my Vista desktop, I'll go with the recommendation for comodo.
