And just to toot my own horn because a mustang has been my dream car since I wasa little boy, I got to drive a 2012 mustang tonight for like an hour and it was the time of my freaking life. So much fucking fun like you have no idea. So smooth, so controlled, just rock fucking solid handling. Just damn would I love to own one. The performance on the newest generation of Stangs is quite impressive though. 97dakota Posted November 22, 2011 Report Share Posted November 22, 2011 It is a Bullitt, one thing that gives it away is the c-pillar on the small rear window, the way they curve back towards the front shows.the GT and V6 models did not curve towards the front like this. IMO they look better than those chrome Saleen knockoffs. Yeah I'm having some second thoughts on this car because of the money I would have to spend restoring it back to it's true Bullitt form. He'd probably think I was crazy, but I wonder if he still has the original bumpers and wheels. If it's not a Cobra or a Saleen, why make it look like one? Sounds almost as bad as those Sileighty or Silvia conversions on 240's about 10 years ago. If he had the original parts though, I'd take it. I don't want a Bullitt/Cobra/Saleen identity crisis Mustang dammit!
