And dont know what tweet to add on with them...any suggestion fellas? Any super tweet you're comfortable running will pair up nicely with em like I said I have mine paired with a set of PPI tweets so 2 mids and a tweet in each door (2 door car) and it sounds great. I am using a clarion MCD360 crossover. Would yallthinkthey would work nicely with them and adding a tweet,so 2 speakers and a tweet on ea door? Powered by a jl audio 300/4 v1? if you put a DD-1 in your amp terminal and it immediately went up in smoke, i would be concerned. If you shoved your dick in the terminal and it didn't blow up but a month later it blew up, i STILL WOULDN'T be able to blame your dick. It just does not make sense at all. Its funny how everyone jumped all over them right when he said they should sound decent because they are focals. anyhow i thought that was funny, low end home audio drivers that were designed for an enclosure and closed room environment, probably arent going to sound very magnificient in a vehicle that most people who are only looking to spend 9 dollas on a mid arent going to seal a good or do anything that makes any driver shine in the first place. Then cross reference that with what the frequency response looks like and of course take common sense into account. dont try to get 40 hz out of a cheap mid.
