No Roof Flex But is Very Loud in Rain, What Should I Use?

Recommended Posts

My roof does not flex. not even close to being that loud. But in the rain it is extremely loud and annoying. i want to get rid of that pinging noise.

my question is, will any of the 3 SS CLD mats work to silence my roof?

Yup, if it's mostly flat without alot of curves I'd say get Alpha damp, it's beast. But I'm sure any of them will do the trick.

i will never recomed it but even peel and seal will help just get a door pack from ss and spread it out over the roof will do wonders you do not need to cover the whole roof i did that to my honda and its like a rock even with just 40% covarage

Have you ever had your woofers blown?

I'm sure if you talked to them they would probably just sell you what you need. Probably.

Sorry for the delay, was doing some testing today.

Anyways, yes either three of our CLDs would work awesomely.

Since roofs are mostly flat, Alpha Damp would be product numero uno in terms of performance.

The door pack we sell is 13 sq. ft. of Damplifier Pro. For a roof, 10 sq. ft. would be plenty.

honestly IMO if you dont need to really deaden your roof just want the rain not so loud id just get peel and seal. it would be a shit ton cheaper. but thats just me.

The testing that I was referring to in my above post was the difference between P&S and a true CLD.

I have the results posted on another forum, but I'll post them here too.
