i smooth mine out and use a roller paint to paint mine. it's a lot thicker and won't soak into the MDF like normal spray paint will

What brand do u use for when u apply with a roller? And do u primer before applying?

you can primer, but the paint is thick enough to where you don't really need to. primer is good for spray paint because it provides a little seal for the color to lay onto without getting soaked in. the brand i used was your typical paint you can get at walmart or home depot. behr, or whatever the cheaper kind of paint is. it goes a long way too

on my last box i used 220 grit to sand, then bondoed the seams,then kilz 2 primer,and had some interior house paint matched to my interior.
